Cherry & Chocolate
It's been a while since I share any recipes and I think this one makes up for it!
Does anyone else gets more inspired after midnight or it's just me?
Yesterday my night was a busy one in the kitchen, first I baked some vegan muffins for me and those in my house who appreciate some vegan goodies, then I baked this decadent cake for my family.
It was definitely a productive after-hours baking session.
Here is the recipe!

Coconut Basil Cookies
I always enjoy going to the Central Market for many reasons but my favorite one is to try what new Gelato flavor they have available.
I was completely delighted and thrilled with the coconut basil flavor.
After craving for more a couple of days later, I decided to start mixing and trying to get the best cookie version of the delicious gelato. Today I am very pleased with the final concoction and very happy to share my recipe with you.

"Quesitos"
It's been a while since I posted a recipe and I think this one is worth getting a showcase on the blog. These are "quesitos", "mini cheeses" would be the literal translation; the name comes after the cream cheese inside them ;) I make his little deliciousness for my family constantly. They disappear quickly and the subsequent squabble is always there to let me know when they're almost gone! I hope you enjoy!!...

Love Shack
If you are around the Fort Worth area I recommend you go for some love at Tim Love's Love Shack.
The Love Shack is an Inviting casual restaurant to gather over casual food. You will find a nice varied menu that include burgers, sandwiches, fresh cut fries & root beer on tap. The Dirty Love Burger is THE item to try from the menu, it has lettuce, tomato, bacon, dirty love sauce, and a fried quail egg. My husband found the burger delicious, he said it was the best one he had in many years. I chose the vegetarian option on the menu, a battered portobello burger. Since I'm an extreme healthy eater, I found my burger a bit on the oily side for my taste but the flavor didn't disappoint at all. The Love Shack is A fun place for the whole family that also looks like a cool nighttime meeting spot. We will definitely go again!
Wearing a thrifted hat, mossimo tank from target, american eagle outfitters straight jeans, levis jacket, calvin klein shoes & a ten dollars 100% leather belt from walmart!

Toast

Hoping everyone a great new year, a fresh new start full of all beautiful things and many blessings!
And for all the non drinkers who wants to join me, lets make toast with my always favorite non-alcoholic choice: Golden Star White Jasmine Sparkling Tea. A champagne like drink that's fabulous!

Project Love
Love begins in the kitchen, and one of the most fulfilling simple ways to show your love is creating something delicious for that special person! Everything is more meaningful and appreciated when you make it instead of buying it. Here are some good recipes, from my own family recipe collection and from my favorite food blog: Cannelle-Vanille. Now I let you go to the kitchen and start the love project and like Tim Gun would say: make it work! Ps. Don"t forget to wear your red heels!!
