Project Love

Love begins in the kitchen, and one of the most fulfilling simple ways to show your love is creating something delicious for that special person! Everything is more meaningful and appreciated when you make it instead of buying it. Here are some good recipes, from my own family recipe collection and from my favorite food blog: Cannelle-Vanille. Now I let you go to the kitchen and start the love project and like Tim Gun would say: make it work! Ps. Don"t forget to wear your red heels!!
Quinoa Pudding with Macerated Strawberries and Pistachios
Cherry, Almond & chocolate Cake

Agavero - Cranberry Cookies:

1 cup Agavero liquor
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/4 cup self raising flour
1 cup white chocolate chips

Marinate the cranberries in the liquor for 2 hr; drain the liquor and save it.
Cream the butter with the sugar, add the eggs, vanilla and 1 1/4 teaspoons from the saved liquor and mix. Add the flour and baking soda, mix and then add in folding motion the cranberries & chocolate chips.
Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes or until slightly golden.

Chocolate Chip Corn Muffins (this is one of my secret recipes, well... not anymore)

4 boxes 8.5 oz corn muffin mix
4 butter sticks
8 oz cream cheese
5 big eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup of milk
3 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

cream the butter with the cream cheese. Add the sugar, mix, add the eggs, vanilla, milk and mix. Add the corn muffin mix, combined everything and fold in the chocolate chips. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes or until slightly golden.
